Enhanced HAP's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to capture Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) to improve communications for the provisioning of project infrastructure.

Applied manufacturing engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts of bill-of-material, workflow, lifecycle, and content management to the domain of IT infrastructure at GM

Leveraged Aras Innovator open-source PLM software to build a traceability hierarchy to unite enterprise strategy and technology roadmaps, relate roadmaps to IT programs and project charters, track project requirements, and construct logical/physical IT infrastructure bill-of-material assemblies to drive automated provisioning engines such as VMware’s VCloud Director.

Spoke on this topic at 2012 Aras ACE Conference.

Developed and delivered an executive briefing on the current state of Cloud Computing to GM technical leaders. Performed hands-on construction of Oracle database server instances in Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to demonstrate cloud-computing capabilities and pitfalls. Documented entire EC2 process in a 240 page pictorial tutorial to educate developers.

Designed a modeling technique and Visio templates for documenting GM’s network ingress/egress and security mechanisms. Built a set of standard reference access models for employee, business partner, and joint venture scenarios against a wide range of typical devices to communicate common Use Cases in the environment that architects developing new applications must address.
