Developed an enterprise-wide model of HAP’s applications, databases, application ownership, IT staff, and depicted the relationships between them using a graph visualization engine.


Created a comprehensive component model of GM’s IT infrastructure architecture providing a visual, enterprise-wide perspective of the end-to-end infrastructure, with identification of key infrastructure components and descriptions of the component relationships. Subsequently used as the framework for ITIL problem location analysis, and to drive improved technology standardization.


Led a cross-functional team analysis of GM ITIL problem records against a set of hypotheses to determine systemic architectural causes behind incidents and provide recommendations to reduce future incidents. Subsequently taught the methodology to GM Operations Management architects to institutionalize the process and enable the production of ongoing year-to-year assessments.
