Inventor and sole author of WebSphere Application Server Configuration Reporting Utilities which addressed a common business need to document IBM WebSphere Application Server environments. The solution was implemented as platform-independent Ant scripts to securely retrieve XML configuration files, and XSLT stylesheets to transform the XML files into HTML reports.


Decreased Chrysler’s application delivery to production deployment time by 25% by standardizing the delivery, assembly and promotion mechanism used by all off-shore development agencies developing JEE internet applications for Chrysler. Led the rapid development and integration activities to create GM's template-based Global BuyPower B2C internet site offering consumers the ability to shop for, and finance vehicle purchases over the Internet.  The template web site is populated with regional content and data to support the marketing activities of 40 international business units. The architecture includes the Art Technology Group (ATG) Dynamo Java application server, operating on Windows NT and Sun Solaris operating environments, interacting with an Oracle data base.


Developed UNIX daemons for a University of Michigan intranet site providing browser-based access to millions of document images stored in a FileNet content management system to over 2,000 users spread over 3 campuses.


Designed a workflow and document imaging system for the University of Michigan to manage student loan documents. This project included requirements gathering, business process re-engineering, system design, custom software development, user and system administrative training, production roll out and ongoing user support.

Developed EDS' core document imaging utilities for multiple EDS customers to convert text files to CCITT Group 4 TIFF images, endorse scanned images with text, display TIFF images, print TIFF images through Adobe PostScript, and the Microsoft Windows GUI, tile printing of 8 TIFF images per page, and perform high-speed image printing utilizing hardware image decompression. Provided PL/1 programming support related to GM's Corporate Graphics System (CGS) software management, system initialization, and Logon Control in a mainframe MVS environment to twelve GM CGS CAD/CAM installations, and all internal CGS development groups. Personally installed CGS on-site at General Motors of Brazil in July 1987.
